Founded in 1999, TurboWave, Inc. is dedicated to providing users with the freedom of unrestricted access to the digital content they want, wherever they want it and whenever they want it. To achieve this goal, TurboWave formed a collaborative biological enterprise comprised of various partners. We have since spent over $4.5 million in technology and systems development with these partners. The resulting proprietary and patent pending technologies squarely address the performance, cost, interoperability, and quick deployment requirements of community area networks needed to create ubiquitous, low cost, broadband access to an intranet and the world wide Internet which heralds the potential to communicate, research and conduct business from virtually anywhere in the world. Millions of e-mails, stock quotes, chat sessions, audio broadcasts, and video streams are transmitted each day between its users. Yet, each day users’ frustration increases because their connection to the Internet is not fast enough or not accessible from where they happen to be. For such people, a better solution is often too expensive or altogether unavailable. In many countries, the situation is exacerbated by a lack of any Internet infrastructure. Many communities do not have the ability to connect, because they cannot afford to lay the necessary wired infrastructure.
TurboWave is a pioneer in fixed broadband wireless network deployment. Our goal is to become a leader in fixed and mobile broadband wireless network deployment around the world.
